This module develops personal direction and enquiry, allowing the student to pursue her or his own area of particular interest, and to initiate their own project(s) as appropriate within the broad area of Web Design.
This module covers research and evaluation strategies and techniques, documentation techniques and formats, and project management techniques.
The student will identify a suitable project idea/topic, formalise through appropriate documentation, and produce an online product to their own specification.
This module is studio based, with an emphasis on responsive, student-centred experiential learning (including peer group learning). It will draw on a wide range of learning and teaching methods including workshops, presentations, group critiques and individual tutorials.
The learning outcomes will be assessed through:
A portfolio including web design product, and evaluation.(weighting 100%).
